How should I care for my pieces?
Your Emi pieces are crafted from organic cotton or a soft cotton–elastane blend designed for comfort, breathability and gentle stretch — perfect for mum and baby. Follow these steps to keep them at their best:
- Cold gentle machine wash (30°C max)
- Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent
- Wash with similar colours
- Lay flat or hang to dry in shade
- Avoid tumble drying often
- Warm iron
- No bleach or fabric softeners

Yes! All our tops are designed with leak-friendly built-in bras and easy nursing access, so feeding is always comfortable and discreet.

How often should I wash Emi leak-friendly pieces?
Our fabric is designed to gently absorb breastmilk, so you don't leak through your garments, though we recommend:
- Washing after a significant let down, or
- Every 1–2 wears for light use.
- Avoid leaving worn leaked-on garments in a laundry basket. Milk + humidity = smell + bacteria growth. Air the garment out or pre-rinse instead.

The built in bras all have a plunging neckline so you can simply pull the bust to the side to expose the breast for feeding.
